Han (James) Bao

I was born in Shanghai but relocated to Toronto at an early age. The rich cultural landscapes of these metropolitan cities have shaped my perspectives, which become apparent in my written work. Currently, I'm pursuing double-major degrees in Journalism and Psychology at the University of Southern California.

 

My passion for writing stems from my deep respect for the power and impact of words. I take great satisfaction in conveying my thoughts, insights, and observations within the established boundaries of writing. To me, writing offers an indispensable platform for communication, learning, and personal expression.

Beyond the world of academics, I maintain a keen interest in sports and the outdoors. The serenity and freshness of nature invigorate me and my appreciation for life's subtle, often overlooked details. This appreciation is underlined by my hobby of golf, basketball, photography, and filmmaking, which serve as excellent tools for capturing and preserving the fleeting moments of life that inspire my creative process.
